About us

The store
Amped on Nutrition was started in 2004 by Barbara Mindell, who still owns and runs the store. As she expanded the store and deli, help was needed.
In 2007 Barbaras daughter in law Anette Grundvig and her family moved from Norway to Quadra Island. Anette came to help manage the store and run the deli. Anette has been a good addition bringing with her lots of vegan expertise and health knowledge.

Health food
Amped on Nutrition is a health food store and has a organic vegan deli. Our grocery store sells alternative products catering to those with food sensitivities, diet restrictions, compromised health and the health conscious.

The store also has available:
Cooking classes, shopping expeditions and dietary consultations. Need help with dietary changes? Do you have food allergies, bowel disorders, bloating and sluggishness, Candida overgrowth? Gluten-free (celiac disease)?
